1966-1979 B-body models RH extra-heavy-duty leaf spring with the front eye bushing pre-installed.
By installing these springs on cars with smaller engines, your suspension will be stiffer than original, thus improving handling, but the car's ride characteristics will also change. The car will ride stiffer and generally be more harsh. Vehicles equipped with Iso-Clamp rear spring insulators (identified by large rubber cushions at the spring-to-axle mount) will need to have the larger spring-pin hole in the axle perch shrunk either by replacing the perches or by welding a strong washer inside the existing hole. Since these springs are not specific to vehicle height, ride height may not match original.
NOTE: Part # FDP1983/FDP1982 springs have a round front eye, but will correctly replace original springs with oval front eyes. The front segment length will appear shorter to the naked eye, and the suspension will be stiffer.
