Pertronix Ignitor electronic ignition fits 1962-1973 Mopar V8 models (except 440 models with the distributor # IBS4014, IBP4002Z, or any car with a single or dual-point Prestolite distributor).
The Ignitor line of products replaces the breaker points in your distributor with a sealed "chip" and a set of magnetic pickups. The chip is resistant to dust, oil and water and provides reliable spark to 6000 rpm (if a heavy-duty coil is used, the chip will provide spark to 13,000 rpm). On the other end, this system will provide spark down to 1 rpm for fast starts in the morning. The Ignitor-enhanced distributor looks completely stock, except for one extra wire leading to the coil.
