NOTE: THE "FULL" MARK ON YOUR ORIGINAL DIPSTICK IS INCORRECT WHEN INSTALLING ONE OF THESE EXTRA-CAPACITY OIL PANS. TO ACHIEVE A CORRECT DIPSTICK READING, FILL THE EMPTY PAN WITH THE NUMBER OF QUARTS LISTED IN THE CATALOG AS THE CAPACITY FOR THAT PAN (THE LISTED CAPACITIES ARE FOR THE PAN ONLY AND DO NOT INCLUDE THE FILTER). BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE, CHECK THE DIPSTICK AND SCRIBE THE NEW FULL LEVEL AT THE LOCATION OF THE OIL MARK.
