This reproduction choke thermostat for 1968-1969 383 and 440 models, and 1968-1970 340 models with Carter AVS four-barrel, is yellow zinc in color, and includes the carburetor attaching clip and retaining bolts. As original, it has "45" stamped on the housing.
This is the choke thermostat that is mounted to the carburetor linkage and the intake manifold on 1968-1969 383 and 440 models, and 1968-1970 340 models with Carter AVS four-barrel, and slowly opens the choke on the carburetor as the engine warms up to operating temperature.
