Premium quality reproduction 26 radiator 2998961 for 1970 E-body models with 383 and 440 engines with automatic transmission.
This officially licensed radiator features part number "2998961", pentastar, correct supplier code and "Use Chrysler Antifreeze" stamped in top tank as original. Includes reproduction radiator cap, overflow hose, radiator/fan shroud retaining hardware, and reproduction radiator hose clamps.
Construction features "Max Cooling", larger than OE, 3 row core with 5/8" tubes on 7/16" center.
Transmission cooler installed in lower tank as original. Even cars with manual transmission originally had an automatic transmission cooler installed in the radiator from the factory, and our reproduction radiators are built the same way. Plugs, as used on manual transmission cars will be installed in cooler inlet/outlet. Fittings for automatic transmission are included in the accessory package.
This radiator does NOT have date code stamped in side bracket as original. For reproduction radiator date coded specific to the scheduled build date of your car, please call and order #RDATE.
Mopar sometimes used multiple part numbers for the same application. To determine the correct part number for your car, the car's build sheet will list a two digit number for "RAD", which is the last two digits of the part number stamped in the top tank of the radiator.
