Melling Standard Volume, High Pressure Gen III Oil Pump for 1997-2013 LS Engines.
New LS Oil Pump fits most 1997-2013 LS based engines including the LS1, LS2, LS3 (wet sump applications), and LS6. This LS oil pump was used on the stock GM Pick-Up applications from 1999-2013 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L and 6.2L engines that were NOT equipped with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and/or Displacement on Demand (DOD). If you are rebuilding one of these engines and you are removing the the VVT and DOD features it is highly recommended that you replace the oil pump with this application.
Melling improved the standard volume GM LS Gen III oil pump. Design changes to the housing, cover, and components together combine to improve the performance, durability, and capability of the oil pump. Melling has engineered this oil pump specifically for performance LS applications. It can be used in any GM Gen III application that uses Melling’s stock replacement M295 oil pump.

Exclusive rotor design with improved strength
Hard coat anodized aluminum housing
Phosphate coated cast iron cover
High pressure (+10 psi) spring installed
Includes optional standard pressure spring
Includes optional +25 psi spring for COPO applications
Threaded pressure relief nut
Uses 7/8” stock bolt-on oil pickup tube assembly
Includes O-rings for oil pickup tube assembly
