Tremec model TKO heavy duty five speed transmission for 1982-1992 Camaro and Firebird, V8 models.







GM Tremec TKO -
* Suitable for street or race applications
* Direct replacement for many models

GM Tremec TKO - Rated up 525 lb-ft, the TKO 5-speed is even heavier-duty than the 3550. Like the 3550, this transmission is a replacement for the original T5. A speedometer adapter kit is necessary for proper speedo function, and a crossmember bracket kit is needed for proper mounting. Gear ratios are as follows:

2nd 1.98
3rd 1.34
4th 1.00
5th 0.68

Tremec 3550 transmissions include shifter with a knob or handle. The O.E.M. knob and handle will work.

Due to the size of this product, it is shipped oversize. Use PN TGMY80 transmission yoke.
