Detroit Speed and Engineering bare metal hydroformed subframe for 1967-1969 Camaro/Firebird and 1968-1974 Nova models with small block engines.
Detroit Speed and Engineering's front subframe is a bolt in replacement for the original stock subframe. This subframe improves the handling and ride quality by utilizing a unique suspension geometry and hydroformed frame rails. The hydroformed frame rails feature strength and stiffness, relatively low weight, and precise quality. It utilizes a coilover spring rated at 475 lb/in, rack and pinion steering, and splined sway bar. Both main and secondary crossmembers are stamped for structural rigidity. This subframe is bare metal and is unassembled. MSO (Manufacture State of Origin) information will be included with each subframe.
