Your dash pad gets stripped down to the plastic core. The core is then repaired as needed and new foam is applied and shaped accordingly then it is covered with the correct vinyl material.
YOU WILL RECEIVE EMAIL INSTRUCTIONS FOR WHERE TO SEND YOUR DASH PAD AFTER YOUR ORDER IS COMPLETE.
You must write your order number and first and last name on the bottom of your dash pad with a marker or engraver.
2 different dash pads were used from 1970-1981 given that some cars have had unknown dash work your car may have an early or late dash pad.
1970-1977 dash pads have a 3/4" space between the radio
and ashtray.
1978-1981 dash pads have a 3/8" space between the radio
and ashtray.
It is important that you select the proper year.
Note: You will need to make sure you package your dash pad really good. You will need to bolt a strip of metal or wood to the dash pad to join the 2 sides together below the steering column to keep the dash pad from getting tweaked during shipping. See PHOTO FOR EXAMPLE
