Coilover conversion bracketry for 1967-1969 Firebird models with Detroit Speed lower control arms.
This coilover conversion kit is designed to convert your stock front subframe to a true coilover setup. It provides a new upper control arm mounting plate that is relocated to improve geometry by raising the front roll center. This conversion allows you to easily adjust ride height and spring rate to suit your driving needs.The upper and lower coilover mounts are positioned so that lower ride heights can be obtained without sacrificing ride travel, based on a 4" stroke shock. Does not include coilover shocks and springs. The kit includes: * Upper control arm mounting plates and coilover mount brackets. * Fixture to locate the new upper control arm brackets in position. * Stamped steel rings for the subframe that allow the coilover shock to pass through. * Fasteners, hardware and instructions with photos included.
