Engine Stamper OK-2 for 1962-1978 Pontiac models.







The OK-# stamps were used in all Pontiac assembly plants and engines from the year of 62-78. It was stamped on the front of the passenger side cylinder head.

These were inspector marks given when the engine was tested in the car. Each inspector had a different stamp, 1-9 but the most common are 2,3,5,6. The color of the stamps have been seen in yellow, dark blue and black. Black being the most common.

Note: You can use stamp ink from the office supply store or spray paint. Spray the paint on a test board wait a minute for it to firm up and stamp the paint then the engine.
