Motor Mount Set for 1964-1965 Mustang 260/289 built before 11/1/65. Hardware not included. Sold as a pair.
These heavy-duty mounts are outwardly identical to the stock units in appearance (although they're labeled "driver's side" and "passenger's side"). They use the engine's lifting power to close the gap between the upper and lower mount plates. This is done through the use of high-grade beveled fasteners. The mounts transition themselves between a "floating" and a "locked" position, depending on engine load.
Note: For 1965 260 and 289 engines, you must determine whether the vehicle was produced before or after 11/1/65. If produced before 11/1/65, it is considered a 1965 model. If produced after 11/1/65, it is considered a 1966 model.
