Pertronix street/strip H.E.I.-style distributor with black cap for Ford 260/289/302 V8 engines.
GM H.E.I.-style street/strip distributor is designed for use on small-block Ford V8 engines. The simple 2-wire hookup eliminates much of the wiring usually found on stock Ford electronic ignition setups. The high-performance module and 50,000 volt coil deliver twice the energy across the plug gap versus stock. Includes vacuum advance and uses standard Pertronix H.E.I. service parts. The race distributor has a vacuum lockout and welded mechanical advance, along with a lower resistance coil and higher capacity module for 48% more peak current.
