1964-1/2-1965 Mustang Taillight Harness for Coupe and Convertible Models without Molded Taillight Housing Plugs.

Tail Light Wiring Harness, 1965 Mustang, Coupe/Convertible, With Tail Light Wires, Early Style Underdash Plug

This is a concours correct, USA-Made tail light harness.

The tail light harness has wires for the tail light bodies, back up lights, license plate light, and fuel sending unit. It plugs into the underdash harness & turn signal switch with connector part # 21103.

This does not have tail light socket boots and is meant for early-style tail light bodies where the socket is made into the tail light body.

This is the "early style" underdash plug style which has (1) 2-prong plus 3-4 single bullet plugs where it plugs into the underdash and turn signal connector.

If buying a new underdash harness at the same time, use this "early" style as the new underdash harnesses use the "early" style connection.

FITMENT:

  • 1965 Mustang Coupe/Convertible with "early" style underdash plug or new underdash harness and early "wire type" tail light bodies

NOTE: 65 tail lamp feeds with OEM socket molds   Come in early & late models. The difference is how they plug in under the dash.   The early feeds have a 2 way hard-shell & 3 or 4 single bullets.   The late feeds have a 2 way hard-shell & a molded 2 way + 1 or 2 single bullets.   Use this information to determine what to order.   For 1965 AMP under dash harnesses use Early models
