Late 1967-1970 Mustang Black manual rack and pinion kit.
This black manual rack and pinion kit greatly improves handling, responsiveness, and steering effort. The kit is engineered to match the stock Mustang suspension, and has little to no bump steer. It is a bolt on kit, so installation is simple. Each kit includes everything needed to do a complete installation on a Mustang with the original column.
This kit includes:
* Manual rack and pinion, mounted on it's mounting bracket.
* Outer tie rod ends.
* Shaft and U-joints.
* Column bracket, gasket and bushings.
* Mounting hardware and instruction sheet.
NOTE: Early 1967 Mustangs do NOT have a rag joint while the late 1967 Mustangs do. This kit will fit late 1967 models with rag joint.
Additional U-joints and/or shafts may be required when using with some aftermarket headers.
