Firewall air conditioner to heater conversion cover for 1968-1972 Chevelle, El Camino, and 1970-1972 Monte Carlo models.
This cover will take the place of your firewall evaporator box and clean up the look of your engine compartment. Your factory dash controls will still work for heat and defrost functions. This box is approximately 3-1/4" deep on the blower motor side, and 2- 1/4" deep on the opposite side so you have more room like non-A/C cars. Made of black ABS plastic with smooth finish, can be painted if you choose. The cover has all holes pre-drilled for blower motor and mounting. Can also use this conversion box when changing to an aftermarket air conditioning system.
