This reproduction 6-piece aluminized kit includes all the pre-bent and crimped pipes to correctly replace a chambered exhaust system using factory cast-iron exhaust manifolds. The big-block kit includes 2 head pipes with flanges (2-1/2" o.d. at both ends), 2 chambered mufflers and 2 over-axle tail pipes (2-1/4" o.d. at the muffler, 2-1/2" o.d. at the tail pipe ends) with the resonator near the rear of the car. Order our universal hanger and clamp kit # DZ8 when purchasing one of our chambered exhaust systems. Due to the size of this product, it is shipped oversize.
NOTE: Although installed only on 1969 models, it will fit all 1968-1972 models except convertibles and El Caminos. This exhaust system is quite loud, which is why the factory discontinued the option. Use with chrome extensions # 3120N (new GM) or # JY69 (reproduction).
