The countershaft (Z-bar) connects the pushrod coming from the pedal to the pushrod running to the throwout fork. This Z-bar comes painted black, not zinc-plated as originals. Reproduction.
NOTE: Although 1964 models did not come with factory-installed big blocks, this Z-bar will work in big-block conversions.
