Driveshaft slip yoke fits GM models with cast-iron Powerglide, early-style (1955-1963) 3-speed, early-style Borg-Warner 4-speeds and early-style aluminum Powerglide.







Slip yoke joins the tailshaft of the transmission to the driveshaft. One side of the yoke has a splined barrel that slips over the transmission tailshaft, while the other side has ears which attach to the U-joint. This slip yoke requires type-2 U-joints. Type-2 U-joints have internal snap rings in the driveshaft ears, outboard of the bearing caps. This 31-spline yoke measures 4.9". NOTE: All slip yoke measurements are taken from the center of the U-joint cap to the end of the splined barrel. Please measure your original slip yoke before ordering.
