 Building the Car Minimize

Each Burt Reynolds Edition Trans Am begins life as a 1977-81 model (don't worry, no Special Editions are used as the foundation for the cars) and undergoes a complete restoration of the basic body shell prior to final assembly. When dealing with cars that are 25 to 30 years old, the metalwork alone is extensive.

It’s hard to please everyone with just one car, so we’ve created different performance levels for the Burt Reynolds Edition Trans Am. Visually, all the cars are very similar to one another. The primary difference between the levels is in the drivetrain. Here’s a quick look at the two levels:

Ban II: Exclusive, fast, luxurious. A very Special Edition for discriminating enthusiasts.

Ban III: More of everything. The ultimate Burt Reynolds Edition Trans Am.
