It's a pretty simple deal, really. There are a number of hydraulic throwout bearings on the market that basically replace the bearing retainer on most popular transmissions. We've used most brands, and each has their strong and weak points. With the hydraulic bearing in place, the rest is fairly simple plumbing, mounting the appropriate master cylinder/reservoir and adapting your pedals. The critical part is getting the throwout bearing travel correct, otherwise it's possible to either overheat the bearing or not fully disengage the clutch. Follow the directions and take careful measurements and you should be fine. And yes, bleeding them is usually a pain!

Thanks,
K Maney
