Wow, the car looks great. You have kept the essence and attitude of the car, and gave it an update.

I would suggest several additional options: Corvette independent rear-end, other than that all I have were some cosmetic suggestions: 1- I like the bird, but still really like the original bold golden bird. 2- blackout package = no pinstripes, leave the emblems, but no pinstripes on roof or flares, 3- I know the purists may love the 'disco dash' but we put window tint on several to cut down on the glare when you have the t-top off, 4- make the door insert less gaudy, 5- remove the bandit from the seats.

You are right about that. I have a new 06 Viper Coupe and was seriously thinking about buying one of these until I saw the price. They would sell them like crazy if they were about 1/2 that. I think they will sell more parts than cars. Will have to go with an 08 Viper instead. Most people who are interested in these cars don't have 130g laying around and if they did a Ford GT or Porche would be nice.

If any one comes across a real nice Bandit car send me an email.

Not a trailer Queen. Something close that can be driven every day.

Thanks Jerry

The BANDIT 8.8  would still kick the Ford GT's Butt.

Okay, here's your chance to talk about the Burt Reynolds Edition TA. What do you think? What parts of the car does everyone like? Dislike? Speak now or forever hold your.... Well, you can speak now or speak later. But we'd prefer you spoke now.

Nicely done and it looked like Stacey David had fun with it <g>. My "tweaks" to it? I never did like the 77-78 nose so I'd swap in a 70~76 or a 79~81 front clip. Engine, I'd go a 572 Chevy and a Tremec T56 to get the .62 over drive. It would let you throw a bit more final gear into it to. The T-roof, pretty but I have heard so much bad about them from leaks to body twisting. For a Garage Queen, did anyone get the tooling from Hurst to convert coupes over? Wide rims, wow! I'd bag it for a bit softer ride and fast ride height adjustments. What else... oh yeah, send me a big bag of money!!!
