Hey Dave,

The wheel part number you're looking for is BPW18189, it's actually a 18x9" wheel. The spacing should be 4-1/4" back space front, 5-1/4" back space rear and 275-40-18 tires. Thanks for your interest.

Iam very interested in ordering the 18" snowflake wheels for my 78 Y88 Gold TA, I spent the afternoon measuring the stock snowfake wheels and the spacing on my car.  I would like to order the largest wheels possible for the rear, or at least end up with a wider outside lip on the rear wheels than the front.  The stock 15"x8" snowflake wheels actually measure 9" wide total, are the 18"x9" billet wheels measured to the outside or inside lip.  the stock 15"x8" snowflake wheels have a 4-1/2" backspace, Aflter measing the clearances on the car, I am  considering  the 18"x9" with 4-1/2" backspace for the front and 18"x10" with a 5" backspace for the rear.  I have a set of weld wheels 15"x10" with 4-1/2" backspace that fit the rear but are a little too wide, they actually measure 11" wide, I am wondering if the billet wheels are actually 10" wide total .  THANKS FOR ANY ADVISE YOU MAY HAVE, I want to get this right before ordering.

thanks JOHN

When measuring a wheel, it's important to measure where the tire bead sits inside the lip. Typically, wheels will measure about an inch larger when measuring from outer lip to outer lip. In other words, our 18'x9" wheels will measure about 10" outside to outside. Thanks, KM

I received the 18"x9" gold wheels a few days ago, it only took about 3 weeks, THEY ARE AWESOME,

I have a 78 Y88 gold car, I plan to build this car into a Gold version of the BRE TA, with as many of the new parts as i can.  The car is at the painter now, I installed the BRE wheel   flares last week, they fit nicely with a little sanding to conform to 30 year old body panels.  I also received the seats, I ordered directly from Carruso, last week, they are tan vinyl with the hobnail inserts, they recovered my rear seat to match.  Carruso did a great job, The seats are also AWESOME,

THANKS JC

Im gonna buy the 18x9 (in silver) for my tenth anniversary T/A (don't have the originals anyway) . Don't you think a Y88 is a little rare to start a lot of modifications on? At least I wouldn't do anything that could not be reversed. Good luck with your car :)

Hi, did this fit on a original subframe, suspension etc?
I would love to have these on my 79' 10th Anniversary T/A , but I'm not quite sure how to measure the correct backspacing for the car. Don't want to buy a set of rims that do not fit. Also, the bolt pattern is 5 on 4 3/4 right?
