Gentlemen, your car is “on point” and it is totally awesome. With that being said I was interested in the bell-housing that you used. I was more specifically interested in the connection that you used between the Aftermarket Pontiac IAII (with Ram clutch) and the 6 speed (T-56 Transmission).

Q: Was the bell-housing custom made to fit?

Q: Was the stock (T-56 Transmission) bell-housing used?

Q: Was an aftermarket bell-housing used? If so, from where?

Thanks for the kind words on the car. At this point, we have only used a Tremec 5-speed behind the Pontiac engine, with a Lakewood bellhousing, and a new dual-disc Ram clutch. We are investigating a 6-speed, but so far have only put T-56 trannies behind the LS7 engine.

Thanks,
Keith Maney
