What kind of fuel efficiency are you getting with these engines??  One thing that is so cool about Lingenfelter engines is that while they are ultra powerful they provide excellent gas mileage during normal driving conditions. How do your engines compare??

I'm not sure we've ever checked! The LS engines do fairly well since they're injected, and overdrive transmissions always help with mileage. The key is keeping your foot out of it, of course. The big aluminum Pontiac we've got in the SuperChicken test car is, well, thirsty! But with 680 horsepower on tap, we expected it to be.
