Roberto Cavazos found this 1969 Tor Red 440 GTX in a junkyard in Texas. From what he could tell, the car had seen duty as a race car since all the wiring had been cut out and all unnecessary weight was removed. This car was trailered up from Tampa, but he drove it all the way from Atlanta to Columbus. This is no trailer queen. The entire car was torn down and rebuilt. It was converted to electronic ignition for reliability’s sake and it ran strong the whole trip. One great feature was the functioning 134a air conditioning. Roberto said the A/C will chill the interior down to a frosty 34 degrees. Who says you can’t have power and comfort?
