Gaithersburg, Maryland, October 11, 1999 Gaithersburg is a suburb of Washington, DC. Our trip down from Carlisle was fantastic. It was finally warm and dry enough to drop the top on the Trans Am and enjoy some open air motoring. The local F-body club in the DC area showed up, and there were a number of cool fourth-gen cars on display. They all seemed to dig the 30th Trans Am. The car caught the attention of the Hot Rod TV guys, who asked us about it on camera! Cool. Maybe we won’t end up on the cutting room floor....
