The Next Generation Project Cars made their public debut on this year's Power Tour. Both cars ran great on the 3,000 mile trip across the country, which was no small feat considering how much thrashing was done at the last minute to finish the cars in time! Actually, Project Z28 was done in plenty of time, but Project Formula was finished at the 11th hour, and had all of 100 miles or so on it when the trip began. Yep, we were a bit nervous as we headed into the desert from San Bernardino, but fortunately the only problems encountered were a couple of burned plug wires (ya gotta love headers...) on our way back to Atlanta from Panama City Beach, Florida. Fortunately, we anticipated such a problem and took spares!
