Dear Year One,
I am looking for replacement parts for these two items (photos enclosed) for my ‘70 Challenger.

(Left ) The first photo is the electrical connection for the safety switch and back-up lights for a 727 transmission.

(Right) The other photo is a diode that was connected to the “key-in” warning buzzer. The diode on the existing one is broken and I have no way to tell the type/size of the diode.

I am also looking for the door jam switches that the dome light, “door-ajar”, and “key-in” buzzer are connected to.

Dear Bruce,

The transmission switch connector you asked about is included in our part # HU231N back up lamp harness.

The diode you inquired about is part of a small sub-harness and is not available as a new part. You may be able to get a used sub-harness from Stevens Performance, who specializes in used Chrysler parts and components. His number is (205) 247-1332

The dome lamp and the “key-in” share the same door jamb switch, our part # NG1031. If you need the switch at the key, it is available as our part # FD83. The door jamb switch for the “door-ajar” light (original part # 2947560) is not available from Year One. I hope this will help you out.
