Project Z28 is a bright red 1995 model with a single white stripe over the hood and decklid. The drivetrain consists of a 5.7L LT1 engine, 4L60E automatic transmission, aluminum driveshaft and 3.42 gears in the 7 5/8" differential. The Z28 came loaded with the popular creature comforts such as a/c, power seat, power windows, t-tops; you get the picture, this car is not a lightweight by any means.
The Z28 is equipped with quite a few of the popular performance parts that are available in our catalog and will be used as an evaluation vehicle for many of the performance parts available for the 4th generation F-body cars. Our goals for Project Z28 are to: a.) Turn mid to low 12’s at the dragstrip. b.) Turn a respectable autocross time. c.) Be driveable (it is driven to work everyday). d.)
