Ken Marsh has spent virtually his entire adult life around, under, and in Chrysler vehicles. He started working for a Chrysler dealer in 1966 doing new car prep. From there, he became a service writer, a salesman, and ultimately a line technician until he teamed with Smith Stokes in 1990 to start their current dealership. Through it all he’s kept his passion for Mopar muscle cars.

Ken’s current ride is a 1967 Plymouth GTX, complete with the original Hemi engine between the fenders. Living as they do in the heart of NASCAR country, Ken bought the car in 1995 from a gentleman who prepares cylinder heads for one of the large race teams in the area. The car was completely disassembled when he bought it, but fortunately everything was there. It took Ken two flatbed loads to get all the stuff home!

The GTX was completed in April of 1999, and Ken’s been driving, showing, and doing burnouts ever since. He drives his car the way the engineers intended, which is to say he doesn’t pamper it. The fact that it’s an original Hemi car doesn’t faze him one bit, and we must say that is certainly a refreshing change. The guy has fun with his car, and really, isn’t that why we all do this crazy stuff in the first place?
