The calm before the storm.... Prior to taping, Peter (center) tells our PR wag Pat (right) why it's simply not possible to mention Year One every twenty seconds during taping. Your author (left) looks on in his normal state of confusion.

Here we are taping the beginning of a segment where your author tries to enlighten the audience on the benefits of dealing with Year One. The segment would've gone exceptionally well had it not been for the slight coffee accident just prior to shooting, the results of which are cleverly screened from the camera by a strategically placed Year One catalog.

Here I am trying to explain to Peter that this segment would be much easier to tape if he would refrain from bursting into spontaneous applause halfway through the spiel.

The TV studio is on the second floor. All the cars are on the first floor. Hence this rotating/lifting contraption that gets the cars where the cameras are located. Pretty ingenious, just watch your step when the door is open.

The studio set was built to look like a nice garage, although everything is much to clean to actually be real. It looks great on TV though!
