After considering the restification of his 1972 Charger SE, Kevin sat down and decided what he really wanted as his next project. He took a trip to the 1994 Mopar Nationals and found this 1971 Charger R/T.
The car sports a 440-4 barrel, 4-speed tranny, 3.54 Dana 60, Ramcharger hood, stereo cassette deck with microphone, Rallye wheels and power disc brakes. This car is 1 of 332 built with this particular engine and tranny combination.
The car was in very good shape, but needed a new interior, vinyl top and minor body work. After a trip to the body shop and a lot of Year One parts, the car was transformed into the stunning beauty you see here. Kevin is still his own worst critic and is constantly touching up the minor details to try and make this car perfect. He says his next project will have multiple carburetors.
