This is my original 1979 Trans Am 400 4-speed. There were less than 3,000 cars made in ‘79 with a 4-speed and T-tops. My car also has the WS6 handling package, which includes 4-wheel disc brakes, 15x8" Snowflake rims, improved steering box and thicker sway bars. The engine has been rebuilt, including balancing and blueprinting, and now puts out about 400 horsepower. The 295/50 R15 Kelly Chargers on the rear fill the wheel wells nicely while the 3.73 rear-end gears and Centerforce II clutch help motivate it. The car was a rust-free Arizona car and the original color was also gold.
