John's ultra-sharp ‘67 El Camino SS396 features a 396/325 hp motor and TH-400 tranny.

The tranny now sports a B&M Transpak shift kit and loves to chirp the tires when changing gears. John drives the car to work every day and gets a lot of 'thumbs ups' during his commute.

John says the car runs really strong now, but that he's going to upgrade to a hotter cam and install headers and Flowmasters.

The 396/325 hp motor in John's Elky currently features an Edelbrock Performer II aluminum intake and a Holley 750 cfm carburetor.
