1969 Charger

1969 Charger R/T SE

Joey’s gorgeous 1969 Charger R/T SE is one of only 1,452 produced in 1969. The car features a 440 Magnum engine backed up by a 727 TorqueFlite tranny and an 8.75 rear end with 3.23 gears. Joey suspects that he is the fifth owner of this car, which originally sold at a dealership near his hometown.

Ordered as an SE, the car received leather front bucket seats, a full-length console, chrome pedal trim, simulated wood grain dash panel, simulated wood grain spider-style steering wheel, and a host of other niceties. The car was also equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, and an AM radio with 8-track tape player.

When purchasing the car, Joey inquired about the original window sticker and broadcast sheet, but the seller claimed that the paperwork was still with the previous owner (who could not be contacted). Fortunately enough, Joey took the car to a cruise-in and happened across another prior owner of the car (not the one who was supposed to have the documentation).

Joey was invited to come and view his new friend's collection of Mopar muscle cars. While they were looking through some paperwork, they stumbled across the broadcast sheet for the Charger! Needless to say, Joey was thrilled to find it.
