Year One Customer Car Show
1970 Cutlass

Extent of Restoration: Completely restored in 1995.
Of the 6,404 Cutlass Supreme SXs made in 1970, only a few hundred carried the W-32 engine package. This option stuffed the 365 hp 455 c.i.d. engine from the 442 into the formal roofline Cutlass Supreme, making one of the greatest sleepers ever produced.
Michael's car has only 29,000 miles on it and everything works like new. The car has a 3.23 posi-traction rear end, SSI wheels, sport steering wheel, A/C, electric trunk release, 8-track tape player, sport mirrors, rear window defroster, and dual-trumpet exhaust with notched rear bumper.
The car was completely restored in 1995 by Pro-Am Body Shop in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The stripe work was done by Tim Hunt of Holt, Michigan. All restoration parts were purchased from Year One. The car was assembled in Linden, New Jersey, and was originally sold by Murphy Oldsmobile in Maryville, Tennessee.
