1971 Chevelle


This 1971 Chevelle SS 454 is owned by Pat and Lynette Lee of Perryton, Texas. Pat and Lynette started out with a wrecked Chevelle that turned into quite a project. They were able to locate the original 454 that had been removed along the way. It has an automatic transmission and factory air conditioning. It took a while to pick an exterior color. "Lynette was real picky about that", says Pat. The interior features bucket seats and a console, and is redone in cloth. The Lee's were able to locate a set of the "old" Keystone Classic rims and the tunes come from a Pioneer stereo. It took the Lee's four years of blood, sweat, and tears to restore this great-looking Chevelle. It is a daily driver and Lynette drives it to work every day.
