This is a 42,000-mile, 4-speed, cowl-inducted, 350 hp, '70 SS owned by Dave and Sandy Evans of Gardner, KS. It has a posi-traction with 3.41 gears. It's not a heavily optioned car. The car was built at the Leeds Plant in Kansas City and was sold by LuJack Chevrolet to Gary Idle of Columbus Junction, IA. Dave Morgan purchased the car from Gary in '75, drove it for a short while and parked it in a garage. My wife and I purchased the car from Dave and have owned it for nearly 5 years, driving it less than 500 miles, as it remained in storage for 4 of the 5 years we have owned it (the car was in Iowa, we lived in KS, then Springfield, MO). The majority of the parts I have gotten so far have been purchased from Year One. The picture was taken at the '97 Street Machine Fall Nationals in Springfield, MO.
