I have these two Chevelles and I have bought a lot of parts at super Chevy shows for both of my Chevelles from Year One. The ‘70 is all original. It has a 396/375 hp engine with a 4-speed trany and 3.73 rear gears. The ‘71 is a Malibu with a 400 small block in it. The motor was dynoed at a healthy 402 hp, which is backed by a 4-speed tranny with a 4.11 12- bolt posi-traction rear end.
